| Background: | THEODORE M. ROWEN was Law Clerk to the Honorable Don S. Young, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, Western Division, 1970-1972, before joining the firm in 1972. He has since focused his practice on commercial litigation, concentrating primarily in representing clients in federal court in the area of civil rights and employment discrimination defense. Ted also litigates on behalf of banks, school boards and other public entities. It has just been announced for the 2007/2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, Ted again has been selected by his peers in the area of commercial litigation. Ted has been among this distinguished group of attorneys for 12 years and serves as the firm's managing partner. He served as the firm's administrative partner, 1994-2000. For 2005 and 2006, Ted has been named a Super Lawyer in Toledo for Commercial Litigation. He was chairman of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Screening Selection Committee for Bankruptcy Judges, 1999-2000. He is, also, a life member of The Sixth Circuit Judicial Conference. |
